Elaboration of the mountain.TRIP communication products
Communication between science and practice has to be based on the innovative communication
products. We are developing a Clearinghouse for research on sustainable mountain development, a
Handbook for practitioners, and a Teaching tool on the communication of mountain research.
Based on the evidence of our survey in 2010 we are also looking at traditional communication tools
such as a set of brochures distributed at a workshop and a traveling exhibition of posters.
Our aim is to provide practitioners with the information they need in the form they find attractive!
The Clearinghouse for sustainable mountain development will provide access to a variety of
research results and present practical information in the form of key recommendations, best practice
examples and tools developed and identified by relevant EU projects.
The results will be soon available on our website!
