Why do you have to register and login to mountain.TRIP to use it?
It's important for all users to know who is saying what on the mountain.TRIP forum and in the blog section. When you log in and post comments, your name will be attributed to your comments. This is also a way to stop spam.
As well as this FAQ page, you will find additional information in our Home section and the Clearing House. If you’ve registered, you can ask questions in the Forum - one of our team will quickly answer your questions. Beyond that, just have a play!
It gives status to users based on their activity. For example if you are a very active user you can get 5 green stars.
If you rarely post and interact you will get 1/2 green star.
The system is mend to motivate users to be active in the community.
